Hello,nnI present to you the latest works from my series “Abrasion” States of Light Santorini, created in August 2025 in the Cyclades archipelago.nnMy series “Abrasion” is a journey into the decomposition of the colors of the white light spectrum in different places and at different times of the day.nnBy adjusting the settings on my camera, I seek to distort the light waves nnto extract the colors of white light through the succession of lenses in nnmy camera.nnThese shots are then reworked into digital art to harmonize the colors.nnThis series explores the genesis of light and its interaction with water and air, revealing intimate and mysterious aspects of our environment.nnIn my work, I use the color histogram to establish an analogy between a place and its environment, like an identity card through the nature of light and its colors.nnFrom the dominant purple of London (one of the symbols of purple is royalty), to the vibrant colors of Collioure (the favorite city of the Fauvist school) or the pale green of the Jade coast in France.nnA process that transcends visual aspects to offer a deeper reflection on the relationship between light and its environment.nnThese series are available as prints on transparent plexiglass in 0.5 cm thick window decals .nnThis contemporary medium adds a slight depth to the image, faithfully respecting the brightness and colors captured at the time of shooting.nnA contemporary medium that acts as the last lens of my camera before reaching the diaphragm of the viewer's eye, which becomes the ultimate actor.
