("we," "us," or "our", "gallery") juries your (client, artist) art & defines the elegibility of artworks for special awards.
1. Introduction and Purpose
This Award Policy outlines the general principles governing the awards granted as part of our Open Calls. The primary purpose of these awards is to recognize and celebrate artistic excellence in a variety of disciplines.
2. Award Categories
Awards offered through our Open Calls fall into two general categories:
Monetary Awards: Awards that include a cash prize.
Non-Monetary Awards: Awards that do not include a cash prize (e.g., exhibition opportunities, special features).
Specific prize details for each award will be explicitly stated in the Terms of Service for the individual Open Call to which the award pertains.
3. Eligibility and Selection Process
Eligibility
All artworks that are designated as "Winners" by the official jury of an Open Call are considered eligible for an award, unless otherwise stated in the specific Open Call's Terms of Service. There is no separate application process for the awards; participation is automatic upon being selected as a Winner.
Jury and Selection
The selection of award recipients is made by a jury, which is provided by The Golden Duck Gallery. The jury's composition and members are not made public.
Judging Criteria
The general criteria for all awards are artistic excellence and compliance with the topic or regulations of the specific Open Call. The jury holds the sole discretion to determine the specific criteria for judging.
Consecutive Awards: No artist may win the same specific award for two consecutive times.
4. Award Announcement
Recipients of all awards will be announced publicly as part of the Open Call results.
5. General Provisions
This Award Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service for all Open Calls. By participating in an Open Call, all entrants agree to be bound by the terms of this policy and the relevant Terms of Service.

6. Amendments:
The Golden Duck Gallery reserves the right to amend the terms of Privacy Policy at any time, with changes being posted on the webpage of the Certification Policy. It is the user's responsibility to review the most current version of these terms before submitting to an open call.
8. Governing Law:
The Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
