In my sculptures I explore protective spaces from pain that is relatable toneveryone.nA broken heart once requires a safe “shell” that will allow the wounded tonheal. Be it a breakup with a partner, a social conflict or a global cataclysm.nWorking with abstract forms and concepts, I create a material appearance ofnsafe, protected objects.nStarting from random branches and bright colours, my practice is a look intonthe future and the favourable procession of life that grows out of the grief andnsorrow that we encounter along the way.
