I am an artist from the picturesque mountainous city of Vratsa, in Northwest Bulgaria. After more than 37 years as a language and math teacher in Bulgaria and abroad, I turned to painting later in life as a way to heal from the deep loss of my beloved husband. I have never taken formal art classes—my creative process is guided by emotion and intuition, not by rules or academic training. My art is a space for experimentation. I do not confine myself to a single style or technique; instead, I let each piece evolve naturally, often blending different approaches and materials. Despite starting my artistic journey later in life, I have already held a solo exhibition in Bulgaria and participated in numerous group shows, both physical and digital, at home and abroad. My work has been featured in the Gold Duck Gallery in Budapest, in the Visual Art Journal and at the Golden Time Talent festival in London. Through my paintings, I hope to share a sense of hope, resilience, and the transformative power of art.
