The dance of the dahlias

Hello! My name is Stiliyana Groneva. I was born in 1968 in Bulgaria.nI have been drawing since childhood, so my first dream was to be an Art teacher. I can say that I like to draw everything that I observe. My professional orientation began as early as graduating from a performing arts school where I studied scenography, costume design, make-up and wigs and everything related to theater and cinema.nAfter that, I continued to improve my skills at university and have been a teacher for 33 years now. In my younger years, I participated in many exhibitions, including several solo exhibitions, but my personal appearances were never a priority. Rather, I take care that my students show what I have taught them and take the difficult path of the creator.nLifelong learning has enabled me to learn many techniques and taught me to experiment as well as to be an inquiring artist. The main means of expression for me is the expression of color. My approach to it is mostly purely decorative. I use a lot of mixed media in my works. But my preferred art materials are watercolor and tempera.nIn the process of my development as a teacher, I also focused on new technologies, because I believe that classic drawing techniques may exist, but we cannot be out of time. I also graduated from the University of Technology. I am now learning and experimenting in digital art.
