The Flight of the FoxnnThe Flight of the Fox is a digital collage where I explore the fusion of times, cultures, and emotions through a female figure dressed in a traditional Japanese kimono, intervened with hand-drawn lines, vibrant textures, and floral patterns. Over her face, a green mask—my own face—is superimposed like a bridge between her past and my present, between her art and mine, between our stories, like two women and two artists conversing in the same space, separated by time but united in essence.nnFloating over the scene are masks with pointy ears, evoking the cunning and elusive form of the fox: symbols of the wild, the free, the uncatchable. Their orange colors vibrate like an untamed fire, like a flash of intelligence, sharpness, and suspicion hidden beneath the calm appearance of the kimono. These masks are not mere ornaments: they are the demons and ghosts that accompany us, the shadows that are also part of who we are, and that deserve to be seen and acknowledged, just like the beauty of the patterns, the embroidery, and the bees that float in the margins.nnThe Flight of the Fox is an invitation to look beyond the obvious, to find beauty in the wild, in the broken, in the hidden. It is an attempt to heal through color and contrast, to release what lies hidden beneath the layers of tradition and time. An act of gratitude and connection: between women, between artists, between worlds.
