The Guardian of the HeartbeatnnDescription:nThe Guardian of the Heartbeat is a piece that reimagines an old photograph of a Japanese figure wrapped in traditional robes, reinterpreted through digital collage. Over the image, I draw organic patterns, flowers, masks, and symbols that seem to float, creating a bridge between the past and the present.nnThe figure's face is almost completely covered, as if it were an entity, a distant memory that takes shape in the image: an ambiguous presence that raises questions and adds a veil of fantasy to the whole. The heart he holds is an ancestral fire, a symbol of life that beats through the centuries. Around him, ghosts, demons, and masks emerge: manifestations of the dark side we carry and often hide. For me, giving them space is an act of resistance and healing, a way of saying that these shadows are part of us and deserve to be seen.nnWith this work, I invite you to reflect on forgotten stories, on the burden of what is left unsaid, and to bring those memories back to life through an explosion of colors, textures, and contrasts that transform the static into something alive and vibrant.
