Welcome to the Golden Duck Gallery's Open Calls for Portfolio Digital Art Shows! These Terms of Service outline the terms upon which Golden Duck USA by LAVECO USA LLC (we, us, Gallery, Golden Duck Gallery)(registered at: 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958) gives access to Open Call services to clients (artists).
1. Definition of an Open Call:
An open call for a Digital Portfolio Art Show is a competitive opportunity organized by the Golden Duck Gallery for artists to submit their artworks in a form of a digital portfolio for consideration by a jury. Selected portfolios will be featured in a digital exhibition on the Golden Duck Gallery website and will also be displayed on physical digital screens at venues stated on the open call page and in this point.
Definition of a portfolio: a specific, finite collection of an artist's creative works, presented for a designated purpose and period. It is not merely a random selection of art but a meticulously chosen body of work that collectively represents the artist's unique style, skill, and creative vision.

a portfolio consists of maximum 8 artworks, not limited in style or size
2. Venue:
The digital exhibition will be held online on the websites (www.goldenduckgallery.com and/or www.goldenduckusa.com) hosted by theGolden Duck Gallery and will also be displayed on physical digital screens at various venues stated in this point.

3. Submission Fee:
Participation in the submission process for the Digital Portfolio Art Show open calls is paid.
The Submission fee covers the jury process & data processing of the Open Call.

$45 plain fee for the submission of 8 artworks
4. Exhibition Fee:
In digital portfolio shows additional exhibition fee is charged.
The exhibition fee covers the expenses of preparation of the artworks for the show, marketing materials, grand opening preparation expenses and other expenses connected to the organization of the exhibition itself.

5. Refund Policy:
The submission fee for participation in the Golden Duck Gallery's Digital Portfolio Art Show open calls is generally non-refundable once the artwork has been submitted for the show and the jury process took place. Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of the Golden Duck Gallery.
The exhibition fee for participation in the Golden Duck Gallery's Portfolio Art Show open calls is generally non-refundable once the artwork has been selected and the exhibition has commenced. Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of the Golden Duck Gallery.
6. Process of the Open Call:
To participate, artists may submit up to eight (8) digital artworks of their choice through the designated online platform on the Golden Duck USA website.
Artists will need to provide the required information about themselves and their submissions through a designated online form on the Golden Duck USA website.
All submissions must be completed and received by the specified deadline stated in part 7 of the Terms of Service.
After the submission period closes, a jury of art professionals selected by the Golden Duck Gallery will review all eligible submissions. For more information, review Privacy Policy, Jury Policy & Award Policy.
The jury will select multiple portfolios to be featured in the digital exhibition. For more information, see part 9 of Terms of Service & the Jury, Awards & Certification Policies.
Artists whose portfolios are selected will be notified and will be required to pay the exhibition fee. Upon confirmation of payment, their artwork will be included in the digital exhibition on the website and will be displayed on physical digital screens.
Artists will be notified of the jury's decision and the next steps via email by the date specified for the announcement of results.
7. Deadlines:
Participation in each digital art show open call is time-limited. It is the artist's responsibility to ensure that they submit their artwork(s) by the stated deadlines. All deadlines are in Central European Time (CET).

8. Artistic Conditions:
The following artistic conditions apply to all submissions for Golden Duck Gallery Digital Art Show open calls:
Artworks created entirely or partially by artificial intelligence (AI) must be clearly marked as such in the submission form.
Artworks created during workshops, masterclasses, or similar instructional settings are not eligible for submission.
Submissions must not depict scenes of extreme nudity, explicit sexual content, pornography, graphic violence, or illegal activities. The Golden Duck Gallery reserves the right to disqualify any artwork that violates these guidelines without notifying the artist.

9. Results of the Open Calls
9.1 Winning categories
The primary award for selected artists is the opportunity to exhibit their digital artwork(s) in a digital exhibition on the Golden Duck Gallery's website and display on physical digital screens at various venues.
In each Open Call the Jury shall put the provided portfolios into one of three available categories.
Artists whose work is selected for exhibition will receive a certificate of participation. Details regarding the certification process can be found on our Certification Policy Page.
WINNERS
Winner portfolios shall be exhibited in both the digital on-screen and online exhibitions.
Winner portfolios shall be stated in the Open Calls Results page and in the Hall of Fame.
Winner portfolios shall get a winner's certificate.
Winner portfolios are eligible for the jury for Awards stated in this part.
FINALISTS
Finalist portfolios shall be exhibited in the online exhibition only.
Finalists portfolios shall be stated in the Open Calls Results page only.
Finalist portfolios shall get a finalist's certificate.
Finalist portfolios are not eligible for special awards.
NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SHOW
These portfolios shall not be included in any of the shows.
These portfolios shall not be mentioned on the Open Calls Results page and/or the Hall of Fame page.

9.2 Awards:
Certain open calls may feature special awards. These awards will be defined separately for each open call and will include a special certificate. Some special awards may also include money prizes.
The Golden Duck Gallery shall announce in advance the awards including money prizes only.
The Golden Duck Gallery reserves its rights to launch special awards without announcement with the goal to recognize the exceptional artistic skills of the artist.

10. Technical Conditions:
Artists must ensure that their submitted artwork files are in the correct digital format and meet any size, resolution, or other technical requirements specified. Artists are responsible for ensuring the submitted artwork files are of sufficient quality for digital display on websites and physical screens.
Artists acknowledge the fact that the provided files will be used for presentation purposes without any modification by the Golden Duck Gallery.
Submissions must be made through the designated online platform accessible through each Open Call webpage and the instructions provided within must be considered mandatory.
In case the instructions stated in the submission form were not followed, the Golden Duck Gallery reserves its rights to disqualify the whole portfolio without furtherly notifying the artist.
A working internet connection and a compatible device are required for the submission process.
Submission through a Google Form may require a Google Account (Gmail).

Each artwork must not exceed the size of 5 megabytes (5 MB)
11. Copyright Conditions:
The artist retains full copyright of their submitted artwork(s).
By submitting artwork to the Golden Duck Gallery's Digital Art Show open call, the artist grants the Golden Duck Gallery a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images/videos of the submitted artwork(s) for the purposes of:
Promoting the open call and the resulting digital exhibitions (both online and in print/digital).
Displaying the artwork online on the Golden Duck Gallery's website and social media channels.
Displaying the artwork on physical digital screens at various venues.
Including the artwork in online exhibition catalogs or similar publications.
Using the images/videos for archival purposes related to the open call and exhibitions.
The Golden Duck Gallery will attribute the artwork to the artist whenever it is used.
The Golden Duck Gallery will not reproduce or use the artwork for any commercial purposes other than promoting the exhibition it takes part in.
By submitting artwork, the artist confirms that they are the sole creator and owner of the copyright of the submitted work and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
12. Exhibition:
The Golden Duck Gallery organizes open calls that culminate in a digital art exhibition, held online on the Golden Duck Gallery website and displayed on physical digital screens at various venues. These exhibitions are limited in time and are a key feature of the open calls governed by these Terms of Service.
Specific to each Open Call: The specific details of the digital exhibition related to each open call will be provided below and on the individual open call page. This includes:
The title of the exhibition (which will typically correspond to the name of the open call).
The duration of the digital exhibition on the Golden Duck Gallery's website.
The period during which the artwork will be displayed on physical digital screens.

Grand Opening Live Stream date & time: October 24th, 2025, 18:00 CET.
13. Governing Law:
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
14. Amendments:
The Golden Duck Gallery reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time, with changes being posted on our website. It is the artist's responsibility to review the most current version of these terms before submitting to an open call.
